Dying Stars

I hold on to this dream, beholden and true,
An everlasting kiss, divine amour,
Is this a dream? Am I living anew?
The vision clouds, and I am alone once more.

Chimes echo and beckon me to waken,
Your crystal eyes become a clement star,
I have evaded truth, I must be mistaken,
You are more beautiful than you know you are.

I melt in this embrace, a spell has been cast,
This canvas I see in your eyes, it does not end,
The love I have for you cannot be grasp,
Paths long forgotten are clear, the soul is amend.

The universe gathers around us, creating radiance blue,
Time stands still, we have become the hours of day,
The images fade, but I am still here with you,
I reach out into the vastness, do not leave I pray.

You hush my voice with a gentle touch,
The cosmos vanish, and I transcend the past,
Tears shed so long ago, the cherry blossomÕs blush,
Fall to the earth and breathe freedom at last.
